off and running

just another day in the neighborhood. it was to begin with breakfast with my patty cakes at my favorite pho cafe, but it ended up being n.v. her first time. she was a lotus virgin [so to speak].

n.v. thinks I may need an intervention. its possible that I might need rehab, but I won't go willingly.

on my list of addictions, lets add ocean. I'm a lover of everything ocean/shore/beach. any opportunity given to dine, walk, shop, photograph or just BE there, my excitement level rises. today, we chose newport because of its close proximity of home. I've mentioned a million times in past posts that the beach has a played a major role in my youth and was a consistent pass time in my years growing up into my teen years and on. the only time in my life was I not close to the beach was when I lived in washington state. the beach was quite the drive and what the people in the area I lived in called beach, really wasn't and I only visited once. the actually beach we took the trek out to also only once and it was cold and didn't offer any of the seaside activities that I have grown used to.

newport is full of things to do, but n.v. and I chose photography and a stroll on the boardwalk. perfect choice on such a beautifully clear day.
